BASIC SALARY  :  SR. 1950/-

Title: Store Supervisor : Retail Division

Job Function

The function of the Store Supervisor is to achieve the successful operation of the entire store. His aim is to ensure the systems in place to control the activities in the store are operating effectively. He must stay within the guidelines of company policy and procedures and comply with all the legal requirements within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Organizational Relationships

1. The Store Supervisor reports to the Store Manager or the Assistant Store Manager in his absence.
2. The Store Supervisor consults with and seeks advice and counsel from the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and on occasions from specialists and trainers assigned in the company

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the Store Supervisor include but are not limited to the following.

1. Maintaining the required standards of the department including the Hygiene
2. Receiving delivered goods into the store and conducting all necessary checks as detailed in the S.O.P. manual.
3. Checking invoices against Local Purchase Orders to ensure goods have been ordered, the cost price is correct and the barcodes match.
4. Checking vehicle temperatures of chilled and frozen deliveries.
5. Directing and advising staff on the above.
6. Ensuring stock is transferred from the warehouse to the store and that there is satisfactory stock rotation by following F.I.F.O.
7. Maintaining all matters relating to Health and Safety on the department.
8. Maintaining safety and security standards including control of the back door keys.
9. Knowledge and implementation of all ‘Standard Operating Procedures’
10. Preparation work for store inventories.
